We have been blessed to start a Feeding Ministry.  A young man in the community approached FBC with the idea of assisting him feeding the homeless men and women in our community.  He had spoken to various other Pastors, but returned to FBC and asked if we would be willing to help him.  We were more than willing since we were already involved in a feeding ministry with the men from our Eagles Nest Transitional Living Program, where we have been feeding these men on Sundays after morning service,  as well as the elderly for more than 3 years.  we invite different Pastors and Ministers to share the morning devotion, Bee's Service Station partners with us and provides a tasty, traditional style breakfast and then the ladies from FBC work in the kitchen to bring it all together.  We thank God we are able to minister the Word of God spiritually as well as supply the men and women with a healthy, hearty, physical meal.  The breakfast is growing, we serve approximately 25-40 men and women every Wednesday.  The ministry is growing and we thank God for those who donate resources and the volunteers who work to make this all possible.  We have found that not only do those who are attending come for the meal, but they also ask questions about God, about life, and it is a privilege to let them know that God loves them no matter what the situation or the circumstances. 

All of your gift will go towards this Ministry it will also be use to provide a meal on special holidays like Ester, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Starting soon is a new ministry that we will call "Second Chance Ministry" which is a AA/NA ministry that will provide classes on Sunday afternoon for those struggling with drugs but want a second chance. We will provide a lite dinner to the attendes funds from your giving will provide dinner.
